ON TIME AND BUDGET
The British Columbia Ferry Corporation were rationalizing the expansion of ferry services between the Lower Mainland and mid Vancouver Island. Ten different terminal locations had been selected on a preliminary basis. Our role was to estimate preliminary acquisition costs for nine potential terminal sites and their corresponding vehicular access routes in order to determine the feasibility of each site. The study entailed 1,151 acres, 444 individual sites and 41 miles of vehicular access routes. Servicing government departments advised that their required timing for the project was 8-10 months.
